Create a beautiful Christmas box covered with a blanket of fresh snowfall—using components entirely from this month’s kit! Take one of the kit’s snowy and silvery card bases and cut in half. Then, score each piece at 1/2" (1.3 cm) on every side. Place each piece in front of you, with the shorter sides being the top and bottom. Cut the horizontal edge of each corner square. Then, add a small second cut next to the first at a slight angle, with the angled cut coming into the corner square. (When complete, each cutout should look like a right triangle.) Fold along the scored lines, then use the kit’s adhesive dots to secure the tabs to one another. These completed pieces will be the top and bottom of the box! (Phew, you did it!)
Once you’ve assembled the box, cut an envelope from the kit to create a belly band for the box. Wrap a ravishing layer of red twine around the belly band, add a few embellishments, stamp the “from our home to yours” sentiment in Shaded Spruce onto a sentiment label, then your beautiful box is ready to go under the tree!
Supplies: Peaceful Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit
Who says a blue Christmas has to be sad? This blue Christmas card would brighten anyone’s holiday! To replicate it, cut a 6" x 3" (15.2 x 7.6 cm) rectangle from Balmy Blue Cardstock and fold to make a 3" x 3" (7.6 x 7.6 cm) card base. Then, cut a slightly smaller square from Basic White Cardstock for the card front.
After filling a Stampin’ Spritzer with a mixture of Balmy Blue Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill and water, place the kit’s vellum trees onto the center of the card front. Using the vellum trees as a stencil, spritz the Balmy Blue mixture across the cardstock. Remove the vellum trees, then use a Balmy Blue Classic Stampin’ Pad to ink up the kit’s snowflake stamp. Stamp all over your spritzed sheet. Add Balmy Blue ink to the kit’s tree stamp, then stamp onto the bottom of the card front. Repeat with Misty Moonlight ink.
Cut a large sentiment label from Basic White Cardstock, then stamp the kit’s “peaceful Christmas wishes” sentiment onto it with Misty Moonlight ink. Cut a second, smaller sentiment label from a piece of the Silver Foil Specialty Pack. Adhere the card front to the card base with Stampin’ Seal, layer the stamped sentiment label onto the silver sentiment label, and add a beautiful bow using twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. This card’s been walking in a winter wonderland!
Supplies: Peaceful Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set (included); Balmy Blue and Basic White Cardstock; Silver Foil Specialty Pack; vellum trees (included); Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight Classic Stampin’ Pads; Balmy Blue Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill; Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack; Stampin’ Spritzer; dimensionals (included)
Celebrate the season with a sparkling silver forest! To create this card, cut a 3-1/2" (8.9 cm) x 5" (12.7 cm) card base from Shaded Spruce Cardstock. Then, from the Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper pack, cut the shimmery tree-lined sheet to 3" (7.6 cm) x 5" (12.7 cm). Adhere the piece to the Shaded Spruce card base to create a card front.
Use a Blending Brush to blend Shaded Spruce ink onto the kit’s vellum trees, then adhere to the center of the card front with adhesive dots from the kit. Use the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch to punch a sentiment label from Basic White Cardstock, then stamp the kit’s “merry Christmas to you & yours” sentiment onto it with Shaded Spruce ink. After securing a Real Red die-cut banner from the kit on top of the vellum trees, use dimensionals to adhere the stamped sentiment label. Write your merry Christmas wishes inside and send it on its way!
