Fold the blue sky card base from the kit to achieve the accordian look. Adhere the large, precut sandy beach piece to the back accordian fold (deeper blue section). Adhere the smaller precut sandy beach piece to the middle accordian fold. This will create a unique card from the original kit options.
Adhere the precut palm trees to the middle accordian fold. One the square, white precut piece, stamp the sentiment in Daffodil Delight. Use a Stampin’ Dimensional to adhere it to the precut sign. Adhere the sign to the bottom left corner of the card base.
To create this alternate sample, adhere the crab, sunglasses, starfish, and seashell precut dies around the sign. Finish off the card with a few sequin embellishments!
Supplies: Fun in the Sun Paper Pumpkin Kit
Cut a piece of Pool Party Cardstock to 7" x 6" (17.8 x 15.2 cm) and score at 3-1/2" (8.9 cm) for the card base. Cut a slightly smaller piece of Basic White and Pool Party Cardstock for the card front and adhere to the base. Stamp the starfish from the kit in Pool Party ink for a tone on tone design.
Adhere the precut sunny background to the card front. Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere the smaller precut sandy beach piece on top to create a beach scene (both of these piece are from the kit).
On a piece of Melon Mambo Cardstock, stamp the sentiment in VersaMark ink, cover in white embossing powder, dust off, and emboss using the Heat Tool. Fussy cut the words and adhere to the card front.
Add a precut beach chair, flip flops, and some iridescent sequins from the kit for a stellar final touch!
Supplies: Fun in the Sun Paper Pumpkin Kit; Pool Party Classic Stampin’ Pad; Versamark Pad; Basic White 8-1/2" x 11" Cardstock; Melon Mambo 8-1/2" x 11" Cardstock; Pool Party 8-1/2" x 11" Cardstock; Basics Embossing Powders (white); Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut a piece of Daffodil Delight Cardstock to 7" x 6" (17.8 x 15.2 cm) and score at 3-1/2" (8.9 cm) for the card base. To create the cloud background, make a stencil using Masking Paper and the Basic Borders Dies. Starting from the bottom, lightly brush Daffodil Delight ink across the stencil using a Blending Brush. Adjust the stencil higher and repeat. Stamp the sun image using the same ink in the upper right corner.
To create this shaker card, cut a Window Sheet the same size as the card front. Create a thin border from Daffodil Delight Cardstock to fit over the clear piece (use a paper trimmer for clean lines).
To create the beach scene, cut a solid blue piece from the inside of one of the envelopes in the kit and adhere to the clear card front. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the precut beach umbrella piece on top. Stamp the sentiment in Azure Afternoon onto the precut label. And adhere using Dimensionals.
Flip the clear card front over and line the border with white adhesive foam strips (trim to fit). Sprinkle a generous amount of Iridescent Shaker Circles inside. Remove the paper from the foam strips and adhere to yellow card base. Flip over, shake, and enjoy!
